i can’t believe another week has come and gone. where do the days go? today’s fridays with oscar was very impromptu as we weren’t planning on this outing to be our weekly photo shoot with our favorite german shepherd. but, the pics turned out so fun (in our minds, anyway) that we decided to go with this shoot as fridays with oscar. at the time, we were just waiting for oscar’s dog walker to show up with his dog buddies loaded up in the back of a truck. you can see with the progression of the photos that it’s just another average afternoon: oscar’s strolling along beside me, humoring me with a handshake, (although i realized too late that he had just peed on his paw right before he shook my hand) then joins me in a grimace, then all changes when his buddies pull up. notice how his ears perk up before he sets off in a dead run, anxious to see his friends. occasions like this always remind me just how powerful this dog is. he had a mixed report card from his dog walker. although he had a grand time at the park playing with his pack whenever a ball, any ball, comes into play oscar just won’t listen…hmmm, looks like we still have some work cut out for us.

Love the hat I am a great fan of Fedoras.
aren’t hats just plain fun? i love to wear them even if i’m not having a bad hair day.
