1. Age Perfect Makeup

Over the past few yers, I've been using L'Oreal's Age Perfect Makeup. It’s formulated with vitamins, minerals, and serums that keep our skin hydrated and luminous.

Get the look
('>' denotes a step and '>>' a sub-step)
Start with the Radiant Serum Foundation with SPF 50.
Apply the Radiant Concealer with Hydrating Serum under your eyes.
Now use La Palette Nude to create a soft smoky eye:
Pearl shade under the brow bone and inner corner of the eyes.
Soft taupe for the upper lid.
Dark brown as the defining shade for the outer corner of the eye.
For your brows, use the Brow Magnifying Pencil with Vitamin E in soft brown:
Gently brush the brow hairs upward.
Use the tip of the pencil to fill in the brow with feather-like strokes.
For eye definition, use the black shade of Satin Glide Eyeliner with Mineral Pigments:
Push the eyeliner into the upper lash line to fill in the root of the lashes.
For lashes, use Magnifying Mascara with Conditioning Serum:
Curl your lashes with an eyelash curler.
Apply a generous coat of mascara starting at the root.
For blush, use shade 415 Peony L’Oreal Age Perfect Radian Satin Blush, blending up.
Line your lips with an Anti-Feathering Lip Liner in 20 Flamingo Carmin.
For lipstick, apply matching shade 110 Flamingo Carmin.

I have been using this makeup since you introduced it to us. I really like it. It’s affordable and does go on nicely. I have tried other more expensive makeup but keep coming back to LOreal. What I like about it is when I run out or want to try a different color I can get it at any drugstore.

Do you know of any store that sells the L’Oreal foundation where you can try it on to get the right shade? What I think might be the right shade isn’t always the best. I buy my foundation at Macy’s for that reason
Many drugstore chains allow you to return makeup -opened or not.

Okay, Beth, you convinced me! Love that you were willing to share your naked face! We are the same age and like you, I gave up hair color. But have found I needed to highlight my eyes and lips since then. So far every product I have tried from your recommendations has been a positive. SoI will give up my expensive brands and try these products too! My wallet is already thanking you!
