Happy Monday, ladies! The sun is shining. The temperature is cooling. And the leaves are turning. All I'm getting at, really, is: gosh, I absolutely love Fall. It's hard to beat the transition months, especially here in Georgia. It's sweater weather, for sure. But, let's not overlook some of Fall's other staples. And today, I've got pants on my mind. Yup, pants. And I'm loving these pairs of pants for Fall from Ann Taylor & J.McLaughlin this year. Both are super comfy and have a great, elongating silhouette.

It's hard to overstate how much I love Ann Taylor. Every single year, they do such a fabulous job of nailing the basics. From pants to classic button-downs, they're really, really hard to beat.
Today, I'm pairing this chain print top (not shown) with a pair of high waist wide-leg pants. The pants are elongating, especially when paired with a heel.

3. Carter Pants

The Carter Pant from J.McLaughlin has to be one of the best-fitting and most comfortable pants I have purchased. I originally bought the black pant to try on for size and was so pleased I also purchased Ivory. The Carter pants have a side zip. The black pants are unlined, but the ivory is lined, which is a big plus.

Once again some great looks. Reaching into the back of closet I found a pair of wide leg pants that need a little tailoring to look more modern. A good tailor is almost as important as a good hairdresser, in my opinion. Hems go up and down, waists widen (ugh) or slim down, and skirt and pants shaping can easily make an old friend from the closet flattering and fresher.
