Just like playing with color, I love a pretty print. Prints and patterns don’t have to be super colorful to be bold. A big, strong print in just two colors, or tones can make a fun statement. Especially in the summer, when tropical prints can transport you to a vacation vibe. So, here's how I'm wearing the tropical trend this Summer.

Speaking of a tropical vacation, it is positively sultry here in Athens today. With 85 degree temperatures and intermittent rain, it is steamy! But that didn’t stop me and Alex from going out for a happy hour cocktail at one of our favorite places downtown, The South Kitchen.
This Blue Pineapple Garden Romper is from Farm Rio. This romper came out in the spring and it’s nearly sold out at Saks. But more than just this romper, today I wanted to focus on the fun, summery prints from Farm Rio. Keeping things casual, I am wearing Fisherman Slides from Madewell. Super comfy for walking around, but minimal enough to keep the focus on the blue pineapple print of my romper.
I have my Mar y Sol Striped Woven Tote because it will hold my sweater while I am not wearing it, and while we’re downtown…maybe a little shopping is in order! So this large tote is perfect for holding whatever goodies I find along the way to South Kitchen. I love Mar y Sol handbags and totes.
