Happy Monday, ladies! It’s full speed ahead with all things fall because before you know it winter will be here. So I take every opportunity to add a blazer to my outfit. Whenever I share my top ten wardrobe staples guess what always makes the list? That’s right! A blazer is the perfect third layer most anytime of year but especially during the cool autumn months. So today, I have The Perfect Third Layer for Fall.

Double-Faced Blazer

Today, I’m sporting a double-faced blazer from J.Crew that’s black on the outside and blue on the inside. Who says black and navy aren’t a great color combo?! While the blazer will look fantastic paired with a navy or black sweater today I chose a camel and black striped sweater with button details (old, similar here). And since the temps are cool nothing beats a pair of faux leather pants that are a great alternative to denim and have an edgy side that keeps us looking modern, fresh, and relevant.

I love a blazer as a “third” layer. It adds panache and this one you are sharing with us has a nice unstructured feel/look to it. Thank you for reminding us this can serve as a “jacket” but provide a bit more “oomph” to our look!
