it’s true; i never met a chino i didn’t like. these pants are all-stars in my book. versatile and durable they can take you to the beach or endure a day of errands. your pick. or top them off with a blazer and you’ve transformed into business casual in no time flat. today, my white chinos have been leopardized. (yes, that’s a word in j.crew’s book.) but i’m still savoring summer with a decidedly cool color palette. pink has always been a go-to color of mine, but a few key accessories elevate this look to tomboy chic. one of my style tricks is to balance feminine with masculine. think of it as a yin and yang thing. see how the leopard (cheetah) loafers and belt keep this ootd grounded? but the tassel necklace and pink handbag give this look a pop of whimsy. it may be hard to tell from the photos, but the earrings and watch are also pink as well as my lipstick to reinforce the femininity. and, yes, i am growing the mop out a bit. i’ve been adding length ever since it was chopped into a short pixie way back in january. we’ll see just where our hair adventures take us!

Leopardized! Love that! This is such a great look. Brenda
leopardized is the best word i’ve heard in a while! and now with fall fast approaching, it will be on everyone’s radar screen. thanks, for stopping by.

Love it all! I mix leopard with so many things, it is a neutral in my book. One of my favorite mixes is with plaids!! I have been on a pink kick lately and just ordered two tops for summer! Thank you for the inspiration you always inspire me. Pinned away!!!
hi cutie!
love leopard and plaid, especially come fall. and pink, well, it is my favorite color and always will be. happy pinning, sweetie!
xoxo
I wear leopard shoes with tons of things–I have a pointy toe leopard shoe, a rounded ballet flat and a “slipper” style. They are a neutral; I agree. This is pretty–good color on you!
i’m always figuring out ways to slip pink into a post. even though i’ve never been a ‘girly’ girl – it’s those all men in my life. but pink is my favorite color.

I love orange and pink! I need more. Always need more…

pink and orange. it sounds as if it would be a hideous color combo, but it’s one of my favorites. it just works.

Your hair is growing fast…do you have a look in mind? Would you believe I am just now getting on the white jeans/pants bandwagon? Leopard shoes, watch out, here I come! xoxo
