how to wear a moto jacket
even with our hectic schedules, mr. style and i love to head out on date night. a quick bite to eat and a movie have always been our go-to date. when our kiddos were small, our favorite babysitters were on speed dial. friday nights were booked at least a week in advance. if i had my druthers, it would have been a month in advance. but darn it. those babysitters had lives of their own! by the time mr. style arrived home from work, and the kiddos had their baths it was close to seven p.m. before we walked out the door. date night was kept easy breezy. and that tradition still holds true to this day.
the temps were mild the sun was shining so i grabbed this adorable jacquard sweater last seen here. black high rise cigarette jeans from Everlane are fast becoming a favorite due to a flattering, comfy fit. it was a no brainer to add them into the mix. this time of year i love to wear my leather moto jacket (old, similar here) every chance i get. it gives this ootd the modern edge it needs. i always love the juxtaposition between masculine and feminine. so pink suede pumps with bows were a perfect choice. add sparkly earrings (similar here) and a clutch bag (similar here), and i’m ready to grab mr. style by the hand and head out on the town.

our oldest is flying home today. loved every minute he spent with us. but it’s back to business then off to date night. happy tuesday my friends!
