it’s a snap
cant’ decide what to wear when monday morning arrives? your work attire should never be boring. even when wearing your tried-and-true separates. look for details that will set the humble blazer apart from the rest of the pack. today, the blazer i’m wearing has snaps instead of traditonal buttons. add a zipper detail and this blazer has modern and fresh written all over it. what’s even better is that this blazer can pull double-duty. in today’s version it has a peplum flounce. but when the peplum is unzipped it converts the lady-like blazer into a cropped jacket. how’s that for versatility? the color scheme for today’s ootd is definitely in the neutral zone. so my handbag and pumps follow suit. since neckerchiefs are all the rage this season i snuck in a silk scarf to tie this ootd together with a little flair. how’s that to start the week off in style?

Last night for some reason couldn’t sleep and took my iPad and browsed on Chicos website and found you. What a relieved to see a woman more or less my age dressing so chic. I’ve had for some time a style crisis. I’ve been struggling with weight and it is so hard to dress well. There is nothing out there to tackle our niche and you have come to give us hope. Today, even though I’m still with same fat dressed much better, felt glamorous and went with my friend to Miami Beach to have lunch showing the best of me.
