Beautiful printed skirt Beth ! As usual, you are impeccably put together, such an inspiration.

  2. Robyn says:

You look absolutely stunning! Fabulous outfit!

Hi Beth, I enjoyed this post seeing how you restyled your skirt. I bought a midi animal print late summer and wore it with a black silk camisole in the early fall (I live in southwest Florida). After seeing your post, I’m thinking about wearing it with a leather top or a cotton cashmere long sleeve sweater.
I’ve been following your blog for 3 1/2 years and enjoy your posts. My favorite is probably Fridays with Oscar.

Hi Beth, lovely outfit, I’m not a pleated skirt fan but I love the print. I’ve had a song stuck in my head for two days now it’s Hakuna matata from the film The Lion King xoxo

OK, now that’s a classic–the outfit and the tunes! I love Lou Reed. Now I’ll be humming this all night long, an earworm I’m ok with. I’ve been getting in the holiday spirit and have been watching Bobby McFerrin do this: I love his spirit:

This skirt looks great on you – wonderful outfit. As a petite gal the longer mid length skirts don’t work for me, but I do love the occasional hit of animal print in my wardrobe. I own a couple of cute tops and a cardigan with animal prints. They really are a classic look especially when worn with some great black slacks. I know what you mean – even as we get up there in age we still need to keep up with the trends when done in an age appropriate way. My next purchase is a moto jacket!

True that midi skirts are on trend, but in my humble opinion, they’re also a classic. I love wearing a midi with boots in the winter. Warm and stylish.

  8. Lindsey says:

Lol we are outfit mirror-flips today: I’m wearing a leopard sweater with black skinny jeans and new black flats I just got last night in the Nordstrom sale!

And I have a black pleated I-think-midi skirt with a 4 or so inch band of velvet at the bottom of it on its way across the Atlantic, courtesy of my mam who is in the UK and likes to shop at Marks and Spencer.

So I’m going to say I’m loving this outfit!
