if you’re wondering what to wear for thanksgiving, think separates. a cozy sweater paired with a sequin skirt is just the sort of casual chic look i favor. the skirt gives me a little glitz and glam, but the turtleneck keeps the look from going over the top. and, this time of year its warmth can’t be beat. since i live in a microclimate i’m wearing a pair of heels with bare legs. those of you living with wintery temps just add a pair of tights and a pair of boots. those of you living in warmer climes, you might consider a sleeveless turtleneck in a lightweight fabric. it’s all about tweaking the ootd to fit your part of the world.
