have you ever made a grocery store run for one particular item, then left the store with six bags full of groceries, but sadly you forgot the unsalted butter? the butter desperately needed to make those mashed potatoes creamy. through the years this has happened to me more than once. so it’s back to the store, once again, so dinner can go off without a hitch. or in this case, thanksgiving dinner. today, it’s all about last minute shopping, chopping and dicing, and setting the table. this year i have two out of three of my sons for thanksgiving dinner, so i’ll count my blessings. my ootd is all about comfort, and warmth. even san francisco’s temps have dipped considerably this past week. i’ve got my trusty blue jeans on, a classic gingham shirt, a cute puffer vest, leopard flats, and a few strings of pearls. the crowds may be daunting out there in grocerystore land, but i’ll be ready, and warm.
