a tell-tale sign that fall has arrived is when i haul out my houndstooth jacket from storage. this beauty has been hanging in my closet close to ten years. but when i shrug it over my shoulders it’s as if i’m greeting an old friend. to be certain this blazer can double as a coat due to its warmth. so it’s the perfect choice for those days that have a nip in the air. black and white are always all right. but when you add a pop of red? the ootd has pizazz written all over it. isn’t this mini backpack in lipstick red the perfect accessory? and it’s practical to boot. the front zippered pocket is the best spot to stow my iPhone. and, yes, the red heels are back in action today. they’re a great way to amp up my monday. are you ready to start your week, ladies? let’s do this!

I also have a jacket that is as an old friend. Similar shape to yours with a plaid pattern on black white and a bit of pink. I have it for almost 7 years and love it. Love your shoes – gorgeous.
