the weather may not be frightful, yet, but most of the country is happily dusting off their sweaters that have been in storage for months. or even better, we’ve found one or two carefully folded on retail shelves that are beckoning us to take them home. color is one way to chase away those gray november skies that are only days away. and that’s just what this modern fair isle sweater has in abundance – color. i’ve cuffed my boyfriend jeans to show off my fab loafers inspired by grace kelly’s timeless iconic american classic style in rear window. there’s just something about a pair of blue jeans that can’t be beat. it’s a staple in my closet that i reach for time-and-again that can be dressed up or down. a gold metallic belt helps keep this ootd looking fresh, but a crisp white blouse is what really lets the pieces fall into place.
