when it comes to date night i like to up my style game a notch. after all, it’s a special night that’s set apart from all the other nights of the week. this is when i put my best foot forward – add a bright lip, grab a clutch purse, and fasten a pair of dangly earrings. believe it or not, since the thunderstorms barreled through town our temps dipped back down into the high sixties. i’m beginning to think our spring/summer will be just as wild and wacky as fall/winter. who knows what the weather will deliver on any given day… but guess who’s biting at the bit to pull on a cardigan? it’s the perfect addition to pinstripe bermudas and black tank. if the temps had been higher this ootn would look mighty fine flying solo. but i loved how the cardigan pulled the ensemble together. the color matched perfectly and the longer length? divine!
many of us don’t feel comfortable wearing shorts. if that shoe fits, simply exchange the bermudas for a skirt or pants. style is all about personal preferences and easily tweaked to suit you. and isn’t that what it’s all about? stepping out the door with confidence?!
happy hump day, ladies!

The trim on the top is perfect and ties the whites in so beautifully. Have fun on your date!

The fine stripes in the shorts make them interesting…another dimension…love the detailing on the top. xoxo
i just couldn’t resist pinstripe bermudas!

You look lovely, adore the purse!
this is one of my favorite summer clutches. it has a sailor knot for a clasp which i think is adorable.

I love my Bermuda shorts! It was hot when we were in Savannah and St. Augustine. I’m surprised to hear you had cool weather. I heard something about a tornado on Tybee Island. So far we are enjoying great weather and our grandson graduates tomorrow, I love the purse. I am on the hunt for another straw or woven purse for this season but haven’t found anything that I can get excited about.
happy to hear the weather has been glorious for you! over in this neck of the woods we’ve had multiple rainstorms blow through which has kept the temps down. i will not complain one bit.
what a treat to watch your grandson graduate! enjoy.

I love the 70’s shorts but the whole outfit is great. Your hair is so cute too.
