go gingham
a little gingham goes a long way come summer. especially a pair of gingham pants. and this pair is no different. dress them up with a blazer and they’re ready to zip off to work. or dress them down as in today’s ootd for a casual day out. it appears i’ve been on a black and white kick this week. but today, i jazzed up that color combo with a pair of red flats. and i couldn’t resist a subtle pattern mix with a gingham cardi draped over my shoulders. now, i’m ready to hit the grocery store (and a few other stops) in preparation for the long weekend. who’s ready to kick off summer?

Gingham will always be around…nice summer look. It’s almost like a neutral…mix and match patterns. I could replicate this look with my navy gingham pants and red flats. This really works! I have one gingham piece and it is an pink denim jacket (it’s lined in Gingham). Now I feel a deficit in my wardrobe. lol. The red scarf is so sassy!
