if there is a color that works for you, then work it! and how do you know if a color looks good on you? pay attention to the times you’re complimented. what were you wearing? or more specifically what colors were you wearing? bingo! that color should be incorporated into your wardrobe. which is one reason you find me in blue. it’s a tried-and-true color for me, and i rotate it frequently in my wardrobe. pair blue with white and it’s summer perfection. take today’s ootd. a simple blue chambray shirt and white wide-leg pants perk up with the addition of a blue canvas belt. notice the leather trim on the belt. see how it’s repeated with my shoes and handbag? this subtle detail unifies the outfit but allows the blue shirt to take center stage. a tortoise shell necklace, a few bangles and i’m headed out the door looking crisp on this hot july day.

Crisp is a great way to describe it! Great outfit. Although, I am soooo used to skinny jeans/pants that the wide leg is taking some getting used to again. LOL

you are not the only one trying to get used to a wider leg. i’ve had the distinct pleasure of seeing this width come and go in the fashion world several times. but growing up int he seventies sealed my love for them. we had pants named elephant legs. can you imagine?
