mid-february is the time of year i get weary of old man winter. and i’m certain those of you who are bracing for the latest winter storm agree. can you believe seattle has endured four winter storms this past week? hangeth thou in there! parts of the midwest all the way to the northeast could see up to a foot of snow. ugh! so it’s time to brighten the landscape if only from a style perspective. while spring is still a few weeks away (five to be exact) it’s time to think about wardrobe transitions.
one brand that’s loaded with classic style and bright colors is Boden a British company with a U.S. presence. if you’re nervous about ordering from Boden, don’t be. shipping is free for orders $49 or more. returns couldn’t be easier as they include a SmartLabel with your package. when their catalog lands in my mailbox i know i’m in trouble. several pages are earmarked in no time flat. this green sweater with striped collar and cuffs was one of several items that landed in my shopping cart. it livens up a pair of jeans and booties but easily transitions to spring with white denim and sneakers. last week i wore an adorable button-up shirt from Boden with pops of pink and red. read the post here. there were a few more goodies that found their way to athens, ga that i will share in the coming weeks.
the sweater is machine washable and features drop raglan shoulder.

the handbag is from patricia nash a brand that features vintage-inspired handbags. i’m particularly drawn to the hand tooled bags that remind me of the wild, wild, west. the look is laid back and perfect for a casual outfit. patricia nash is available at Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, Dillards and HSN.

the soludos white sneakers have a cork footbed and platform sole that makes them soooo comfortable.
