while summer is a time to experiment with vibrant color schemes: pink and orange, pink and red, pink and green. neutrals also have a time and place in your daily life. one of my favorite combos is white and camel. throw in some leopard and tortoise and this ootd turns into a classic ensemble through and though. and while i wear my white jeans year round, i retire my white denim skirt once the temps cool down. one reason it’s been on frequent rotation these past few weeks. we all know white goes with everything, but white and camel is tres chic and a perfect blend of seasons – summer and fall. and while fall is officially weeks away fall fashion is beginning to peek its head into the stores and catalogs. since our temps here in georgia decided to cool down a bit i took advantage and popped a cotton cardi over a graphic tee. my leopard pumps haven’t seen much action this summer so i happily pulled them out of storage and dusted them off. a calf-hair belt was the perfect ticket for a pop of color around my waist. and let’s not forget to add a few key accessories to polish off the look – tortoise bracelet and necklace will do the trick. so there you have it, ladies, an ootd that will transition perfectly into fall. are you ready? it’s on its way.
