every once in awhile i have a blog post devoted to wearing one item two ways. today, i’m sporting one jacket similar here, here, and here styled for work and weekend.
come summer orange is a go-to color for me. it’s fresh, especially when partnered with white. since the jacket has gold hardware i added accessories that reinforced that detail. necklace similar here and here. earrings similar here and here.
a white skirt is a wardrobe staple similar here and here. but an asymmetric hem sets this one apart. add a chic white blouse similar here and here for a chic nine-to-five look.
don’t forget to add some extra pizazz with a printed pump similar here and here. since this outfit is anchored in white a pop of pattern is a must.
this chic weekend ootd features the same orange jacket that zipped off to the office with ease.there are many of you who want to know if your work wardrobe can transition to the weekend. this outfit is proof in the pudding. to dress it down a pair of white denim jeans similar here and here were added to the mix.
a simple white button-down similar here keep the look sporty. but again, gold accessories reinforce the gold hardware found in the jacket and amp up the volume. shoes similar here and here. belt similar here and here.
okay, ladies, we’re headed into the home stretch. it’s thursday! one more day then it’s time for a little bit of relaxation come the weekend.
The jacket is refreshing both ways–excellent examples! I like that you kept the basics white each time but one was casual and the other kicked up a bit with simple touches.
I have been wearing a lot of color recently and I’ve been noticing that people really respond to it. I always get comments on things when I wear bright color. It really is amazing how what you wear and how you wear it can influence yourself and others! I’ll have to remember that if I’m having a tough day–put on something red, and maybe it will help, eh?!
