am i ever glad it’s monday. can’t believe i just said that, but it’s true. even though i had a terrific weekend with a mini getaway to atlanta, there has been nothing but tech issues thwarting my path since last tuesday. the first being my live video on facebook that broadcast from my personal page instead of my business page. then thursday none of the links would connect to the nordstrom website in order to share my first round draft picks. and to round it off my latest video refused to upload to YouTube. but i’m persevering even after five attempts. yes, let’s count them, five. and guess what? eureka! the fifth time was a charm.
let’s hope this week goes a little smoother for the blog. or me. or maybe both. i will just mention that today’s post is short on photos and long on video. so if you are interested in watching three different ways to wear an iconic bomber jacket – work, weekend, date night – then click on the video at the end of this blog post.
denim | sweater | jacket | shoes |handbag
for now, i’m sharing a photo with nordstrom anniversary sale items i picked up this weekend in atlanta. the other items on my wish list will arrive later this week as they weren’t in stock at the store and had to be shipped. keep your eyes peeled for future blog posts where i’ll share my goodies with you after they arrive. in the meantime, i’m sporting this gorgeous cashmere turtleneck by vince, skinny black jeans, the iconic bomber jacket also by vince, suede mules similar here, and hobo bag similar here.
don’t forget to watch the YouTube video. and remember i’m giving away a $250 nordstrom gift card to one lucky YouTube subscriber. all you need to do to be eligible to win is subscribe to my channel. it’s that easy. winner to be announced July 31st.
happy monday!

I have to admit I have a hard time wearing my only bomber jacket…. however yours fits like a dream. I am guessing its due to the colour and tha fact that its a solid colour.
Fabulous outfit!!
Beth, I love your shorter hair style. You truly rock it.
Great ideas!
Could you also share with us your awesome silver hair journey? I have thin, really dark brown hair that looks black, and I have silver highlights starting…I have never colored my hair, but I am kinda tempted to highlight with a lighter brown to make it interesting…
