love is in the air

love is in the air today. so who could resist adding a punch of red to their outfit? “not me,” said the little red hen. and that goes for me too. so i grabbed a pair of red denim to get the valentine’s day party started. what goes with red? well, if you love leopard then add this bold print into the mix. leopard and red are a perfect pair. so out came my leopard pumps. if you like a shorter heel take a look at this pair or this pair. a flat shoe is always a good choice, but there are jazzy leopard sneakers or espadrilles if either of those suits your fancy. if you’ve watched my ‘back to basics’ series, you’ll notice i added not one but two neutrals to my ootd – a grey tee and black blazer.
