well, it was only a matter of time until summer decided to show up. and it did. but guess what? i’m ready to beat the heat in style with this cute linen tunic popped over a pair of chic white pants. i never met a pink top i didn’t like and this one is scrumptious in a soft, breezy fit that’s perfect all summer long. yes, linen wrinkles it’s part of its charm. but it’s cool and fresh in hot weather thanks to the fibers made from the flax plant. and white pants? when paired with pink i’ve got it made in the shade. now all that’s left for this casual ootd is add a pair of sandals. my ‘jacks’ are back in action. as is my wicker handbag trimmed in pink – who could resist. what else is needed for a hot summer day?

Love this! What’s not to like about pink? You wear all shades of pink very well. Saw a blog post about a bathroom in a Craftsman style home that was painted pink…not bubble gum pink but a lovely, paler, flattering color. xoxo

I have that top in pink and also in a sort of light teal blue, and I just love it. It’s great for our scorching hot days here in NC. and it has pockets, for God’s sake. Perfect with that bag. Summer, bring it on. You look terrific.
