now and then outfit inspiration starts with an accessory. it could be a pair of drool-worthy shoes or a hand-tooled belt. or maybe, as in today’s ootd it just might come from a handbag. take this darling purse nicknamed the hiptini (this baby straps onto your belt for a hands-free shopping extravaganza. or for touring rome…). and it’s the perfect size for an evening out. there’s just enough space for all of your essentials – credit card, driver’s license, lipstick and phone! today, i’ve chosen to carry the hiptini as a crossbody bag as i am sans belt. instead, i am living the summer dream in a pair of linen drawstring pants. i’ve jazzed them up for an evening out with mr. style and our youngest who paid a visit this past weekend. a black silk blouse was the perfect choice with olive green linen – natural fibers just breath. although i couldn’t forget to add a few baubles, especially for evening. but i think this camo bag steals the show. and it’s made in the u.s. of a. when you have a moment take a look at all of the fabulous handbags over at beltini.
tomorrow, i’ll be pairing these linen pants with a linen tunic for an uber-casual summer look. you won’t want to miss it!
