sometimes, on a photo shoot, it’s hard to decide which side of the street is the better location. some days the lighting dictates exactly where we need to shoot. but other days, like today, it’s a toss up. the white wall caught my eye first, but mr. style thought the red wall was the better option. which seems to be an all too typical scenario in our house. while mr. style and i have compatible ideologies we have very different approaches as to how to reach our life goals. sound familiar? but there’s always a give and take, a yin and a yang and after thirty-three years of negotiations, one of us will concede. but today, a perfect opportunity was handed to us to have our cake and eat it too! when does that ever happen? can you say once in a blue moon? when the photos were finally loaded, and we compared locations side-by-side it was hard to decide which side of the street was the better choice. guess what; we’ll leave it up to you lovely readers for the final vote. but i am loving my ootd today that’s a long over lean look. denim and khaki is a tried-and-true color combo, so it was only a matter of bringing in a pop of color and texture with my market-sized tote. a few key accessories that bring a southwest vibe and i’m set for another jam-packed summer day!

Both sides have some colors you find back in the outfit, so “the friendship wins!”(c) :). Love this look: relaxed, but not untidy, and bag brings it all nicely together…
Well, you did well to choose the first photo with the red traffic lines on the street, and it all melds nicely together. The universe is balanced. Looks great!
Mr Style has a good eye…;)
The outfit is perfect and the necklace just sets it off! Love the first shot with the red street stripes and the last two because it showcases your gorgeous hair. xoxo
The ootd is perfect….and I vote for the red wall as the better setting. Any photo of you always looks fab!
Great name for the post! And I have to say my favorite picture is the first one of you in the street. But if I have to choose between the white wall and the red one….. sorry…. he wins. The white one kindof washes out your outfit. 🙂 gwingal
