cross body and corduroy
don’t you just love deep rich hues that take their cue from nature? this time of year, pumpkins, apples, and falling leaves are the color inspiration behind sweaters, shoes, and jackets, lining the retail shelves. once october arrives, suede and leather become wardrobe staples. and i have to admit, i love it all. today, my ootd (outfit of the day) has a little bit of this and a little bit of that. the inspiration coming from the beautiful crew neck sweater with splashes of blue. did you notice the flare pants? they’re corduroy in a gorgeous tobacco brown. my peep toe suede booties make an appearance again. but i just read they are called schooties. booties or shooties they are perfect for fall. last but not least, i’m sporting a saddle bag – the hottest handbag shape for fall. for several years, i wanted to add this iconic purse to my collection. and i think i finally found one that will stand the test of time.

Beautiful fall color palette–love it. You’d be right at home here in Minneapolis. The leaves are turning here, and the temps are brisker than NC.
