once again, i’m resurrecting a classic ootd from the archives. after all, it’s throwback thursday. but then again, classic style works any day of the week. or any year for that matter. and it’s hard to beat a little black dress come summer or winter. this particular lbd is by ralph lauren circa 2015. take a look at this dress or this one for a similar version. and this black and white print here is darn cute. it just might have to go in my shopping cart…

sometimes when it comes to accessories more is more. especially when partnered with a simple backdrop like black. i like how the necklaces layer nicely together. the pendant is mother-of-pearl that i picked up during out years living overseas. long necklaces are always in vogue and i did like this one from nordstrom or this from kendra scott
a pair of flat sandals keep this ootd casually chic. and i love the stud details that toughen this outfit up. this pair of sandals is a similar version or this pair.
straw handbags are summery and chic. notice how the gold closure ties in with the necklaces. lots of cute summer handbags to choose from here and here. but a bold lip is what really makes this outfit sing. Schiaparelli
