flower power
with spring well on the way, it’s time for a little spring cleaning. first up, our front porch which has been primped and preened to make way for window flower boxes. one of my favorite ways to amp up our curb appeal. there’s nothing like a few geraniums, zinnias, or impatiens to brighten your day. and while i’m at it, sprucing up that is, beginning this weekend, Christopher & Banks is celebrating our friends and family! what with spring weather finally paying a visit their Friends & Family event is the perfect time to stock up on new spring arrivals, with 40-50% off the entire store. it all begins this sunday, 4.2 – monday, 4.10. plus, enjoy an Open House on Saturday, 4/8 from 11 am – 2 pm. each store has partnered with friends from the community for beauty tips and local tasty samplings.
while you’re there you can shop for this darling eyelet skirt. today, i’ve dressed it down with a denim shirt and sandals. but it would look equally great paired with a crisp white shirt and kitten heels. now that’s what i call versatile. happy shopping, ladies!

the weather is certainly all over the place, sue. but after your rainstorm the trees and grass are so lush and green. cooler temps today so i’ve slipped into a sweater. gotta get every last day of sweater weather in.

I enjoyed seeing all the photos with SUNSHINE! We are in for a grey, rainy week. All the more reason to wear colorful outfits. You prove that you can look stylish even selecting potted plants! Lovely outfit that looks comfy as well.
april does have its share of gray days! we’ve been bouncing back and forth between sunshine and storms. but the trees and grass seem to be happy with all the rainfall. they’re a luscious shade of green.
