want to wear a cute Valentine’s Day outfit that’s also comfy? then you’ve come to the right place. in honor of Cupid and the day of love, we’re dishing up a trifecta. yes, i have a cute and comfy outfit, a healthy dessert, and a champagne cocktail. fridays with oscar never looked so good.
even if you’re not a fan of Valentine’s Day it’s still a fun excuse to celebrate even if it’s at home with Ben and Jerry. or maybe just maybe it’s an excuse for you to finally crawl out of those sweats everyone has become so fond of over the course of the year and slip into a dress. or maybe it’s time for a little self-care. last week i shared different ways to say i love you to yourself. for me? well, Oscar is hand to help to celebrate this special day. i am over the moon with this tasty dessert that takes no time at all to make – Greek Yogurt Mousse that’s topped off with strawberries. are you ready to kick off the weekend? let’s hit it!
cute Valentine’s Day outfit
sweater weather is still going strong no matter where you live in the northern hemisphere. this adorable heart sweater from Loft is keeping me toasty warm and cute. while it gives the nod to the day of love, this little number can be worn long after Valentine’s Day has come and gone. today, i paired it with a pair of white denim (limited sizes, similar here) and threw on a pair of suede loafers. how easy is that? if you are looking for the type of everyday outfit that makes you feel good, i think you found it.

St. Germaine Cocktail
- 1½ ounce St. Germain
- 2 ounces Prosecco
- club soda (to top off)
- lemon twist (garnish)

Pour St. Germain and Champagne into a wine glass or highball glass with ice and stir. Top with soda and garnish with a lemon twist.
Greek Yogurt Chocolate Mousse
- ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
- 6 ounces dark chocolate
- 2 cups full fat unsweetened Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp raw honey or pure maple syrup
- ½ tsp vanilla extract

In a small saucepan add your milk of choice and the chocolate. Place over medium-low heat and stir frequently until all of the chocolate pieces are melted. No need to boil!

Remove from heat and whisk in the honey and vanilla extract.

Allow the mixture to cool for about 20 minutes, then add in the yogurt and whisk until smooth.

Divide your chocolate mousse into four individual glasses or small jars.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.

Garnish with fresh berries, grated chocolate and mint just before serving.

Valentine’s Day. I celebrate in a big way.
Today I am delivering cupcakes to ladies in the neighborhood to celebrate Galentine’s Day tomorrow (Saturday) also handcrafted Galentine’s Day cards to go along with the cupcakes. It was so much fun. We need more love in our country so I adopted LOVE as my operative word all year long. Our country needs more LOVE.
