Amazing how quickly the month of February flew by, unlike the month of January, right?? If you asked what my February looked like, I’d say it has mainly been filled with a lot of watching and attending baseball (my son) and volleyball games (my daughter)! But I wouldn’t have it any other way. I know this time with my children and watching them play sports will go by in a flash, so I’m an all-in-sports mom.

Despite the early morning road trips and eating concession stand junk food ALL weekend long, it’s a pretty fun gig getting to watch them play, and the life lessons team sports are teaching them about community and working together. *I bought this blue jacket you saw here, to wear to their high school games because their colors are royal blue + white! You’ll hear more about this purchase soon*
Oh, and I also learned how to make my first sourdough loaf from SCRATCH, and it turned out delish for a first timer 🙂
What You’ll Find in Today’s Post
Pretty Powerful February Beauty Favorites
So even during this short month, I’ve had some definite standouts in terms of items/products I’ve really gotten attached to. My lucky number of things I’ve been sharing seems to be 6 to 7 a month, so we will stick with that! If you missed it, my January favorites were here, and I also recently shared 7 Iconic Makeup Products from the past decade that I think you makeup lovers will find really interesting!

Without further ado, let’s jump into my Pretty Powerful items of the month you yourself might find interesting or worth looking into…

1. Stationery Set
Etsy Personalized Stationery, $26+. This leopard print coat girl that you can personalize with skin color and hair color, I’ve reordered twice already. She’s so darn chic and cute. Personalized stationery turns a simple thank-you note into something more special. It shows intention, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail before the message is even read!
In a world of quick texts and emails, a beautifully written note on custom stationery feels rare, elevated, and unforgettable. And I do love supporting small businesses and artists over on Etsy.

2. Blush + Bronzer

Cover Girl Skin Enhancers blush + bronzers, $13 each. If you can’t fathom paying for the luxe Hourglass Ambient lighting blushes ($48) and bronzers ($58), then go ahead and grab these Cover Girl dupes instead! Sure, the packaging does not even compare,is plastic, and has no mirror, but besides that, the product PERFORMS so similarly. I’m wearing their blush in shade “Rose Latte,” and bronzer in “Honey Bun” in this post!
3. Brushes
3 BK Beauty face brushes I can’t live without, $32- $38. In terms of face brushes, these three always help me nail my foundation, setting powders, even blushes. The #109 mini contoured foundation brush is so so good for smaller faces, and the #113 small powder brush is just the right size for setting powders in just the right spots, and then the #107 flat brush is perfect for bronzers and blushes. *If you have a larger face, the medium contour foundation brush, $33, might be a better option.

4. Readers + Progressives

Peepers readers + progressives, $32 – $49 each. I own 6 pairs of Peepers readers, and just added TWO new styles to my collection! To The Maximalist, $32, in readers’ tortoiseshell, and a pair of progressives in style Montage, $49 in the shade taupe. I treat my glasses as another beauty accessory. If you’ve been wearing the same boring readers for a while, now’s the time to step up your spectacle game, and these are so well-made, come in so many chic styles and colors, and each arrives with its own soft case.

6. Pencil Holder
Amazon 200 Slot Pencil Holder, $22. This sturdy pencil holder is meant for colored pencils for artists, but I have found that it’s perfect for organizing my massive amount of lip pencils, eyeliners, and eyebrow pencils – all in one spot. It’s cute with the floral pattern, has a handle, and multiple pages with 4 zippers. It makes it easy to see exactly what shades and brands I have available. They even make a smaller version here.

7. Cleansing Skin Oil

Palmers Cocoa Butter Skin Therapy Cleansing Oil, $10. This is one of those obscure skincare products that when I suggest it to friends, they ALWAYS come back to me and say how glad they are that I recommended it to them. It gently deep cleanses skin with the power of pure cleansing oils, cocoa butter, and vitamin C, is non-comedogenic, and smells of rosehip oil which is delightful. It softly dissolves dirt, oil, and make-up and rinses clean without stripping skin – your skin will feel delightful once you’re done.
8. Puffer Jacket Designer Dupe
Amazon Free People Pippa Puffer Jacket Dupe, $30. As you ladies know by now, finding a good deal and a close dupe of a popular item makes me very happy! Fun fact, I used to be the southeast sales rep for the brand Free People back in 2001-2003, before we left Atlanta. I loved and still love the brand. However, their price tags have definitely grown.

I have had my eye on this gone-viral lightweight jacket from them, the Pippa Puffer. However, it’s $198, but it also gets amazing reviews and has a ton of color options. I wanted something just like this for the transition months from winter to spring, and in a fun color to wear! So after some research, I found this Amazon one that is mighty close to the FP one. It’s windproof, waterproof, warm, foldable, and lightweight. It’s an imitation down jacket that can be easily folded and is a shorter, boxy jacket. I love it. I’m wearing a small, in blue.
9. Adidas OG Sneakers

Adidas Cow Print SL 72 OG sneakers , $110. One of my fashion weaknesses is unique and chic tennis shoes. Ones that can elevate a basic outfit instantly. I like the comfort of sneakers, but never want to look like I’m wearing basic shoes! This pony hair finish cow print of ivory, chocolate brown, and green trim is just the cutest.

Now, we can start looking forward to the first day of Spring approaching very soon, March 20th!! Who is ready to shed their heavy coats and gloves? Or are you a winter girly? I’d love to know. Since I’m from the south, I’m not made for cold weather, so I’m okay with now saying goodbye to it sooner than later : )
