those long hot summer days are drawing to an end. it’s time to ease into fall y’all. but with the temps still hovering in the nineties it can be a style dilemma as to what to wear. is it summer or is it fall? enter the little black dress that’s always on-trend and always in style. and guess what? this little number was ordered online at Walmart. yes, Walmart is fast becoming the shopping destination for fashion.
this little black dress is by Vince Camuto. and as i mentioned it’s found online at Walmart. since we’re easing into fall i thought a black and brown color combo was a perfect choice. the block heel sandals are golden caramel. and they come in four colors total – black, golden caramel, jute and pink dahlia. but the caramel color is the perfect complement to black.
the ruffle details add a feminine twist to the little black dress.
the sandals and handbag have one foot firmly in summer.
but the little black dress easily transitions from summer to fall. when the temps dip down throw on a jean jacket for a casual chic look.
when summer draws to an end simply replace the block heel sandals with pumps. and the crochet handbag for a tote.
the little black dress is stunning in a midi length. and an A-line shape is perfect for any body type. love the ruffle trim and v-neck. but the best news is this little black dress has pockets! now that’s something to smile about.

Yesterday’s post on leopard jeans hit home! I had just purchased a pair of leopard side zip pants at Walmart. Walmart also has a leopard ankle jean, $16.00-$18.00! Really cute with a basic black top and hazelnut sandals from Talbots. My grandmother had leopard underpinnings in the sixties and the print is still going strong.

This has reminded me that I have a black shirt dress in the wardrobe. A shorter length but I am only 5’4″. I must get it out again as with ballet flats it is great for the shopping dash! I love the way you have styled yours.
