mean green
there were a few more photos (and outfits) from our charleston trip left in the vault. and since that city is a feast for the eyes, i was more than happy to break them out on this fine wednesday morning. most of the photos were snapped on battery row as we parked the car close to the waterfront and meandered our way back to magnolia a delightful restaurant where we enjoyed a lovely brunch. typically, when dining, we ask the server for their favorites and adjust our selections accordingly. so fried green tomatoes served alongside grits was our first course. let me tell you; those tomatoes tasted like a slice of heaven. actually, the entire meal was flawless. but then, that’s how they do things in charleston.
as you can see, i had my walking shoes on to navigate cobblestone streets. an olive green skirt looks fine anytime, but it looks pretty darn cute when it’s paired with a plaid shirt. add a graphic tee and this outfit has cute written all over it. plus, it’s a breeze to wear when the temps heat up. and, call me crazy, but this ootd just might have blended into the scenery.

I do love Charleston–and your ootd was perfect for browsing those cobblestone streets,… and all the great shops. I learned so much history when I was there. And I love the houses–such great color and spirit in that town. You’re making me want to plan a trip back there. Instead I’m off to California right now, though…
Having lived in S.C. and Fl. during childhood, I do love grits and heard that Charleston has some of the best southern cooking. Looks like you are letting your hair grow a bit. Any thoughts for a new style?
