Please stop “downing” orthopedic shoes. Some of us have actual foot problems that require specific support or accommodation features. We know they’re not stylish. We wish we could wear stylish shoes. I’m assuming a good proportion of over 50 ladies wear shoes that you’d say aren’t stylish, but they are for comfort and the ability to walk!

I’m the Granny, Ganje, Manny and Gaga to seven grandchildren ranging fro 21 down to 4 years old. They are the loves of my life but unfortunately all live overseas these days. When they were little my tote bag always contained a packet of wet wipes a couple of ziplock bags and a change of clothes for whichever child was with me. I also tended to wear dark or patterned clothes which could hide a multitude of sins! Nothing beats baby snuggles but even hugs from my 6ft 5in grandson are precious.
