it’s time to suit up, ladies with a gorgeous pants suit. every wardrobe needs a pants suit. why? they’re ideal for work, special occasions, parties, formal events, the list goes on and on. a pants suit looks terrific with silk blouses, crisp cotton shirts, or camisoles tucked underneath the jacket. if you’re feeling brave and the jacket is cut just right you can go bold with nothing else underneath except lacy lingerie. today i’m pleased to partner again with Halsbrook wearing a structured ivory jacket and coordinating pants from Kobi Halperin.
for those readers who are new to the blog, Halsbrook is a custom made shopping experience for the modern, sophisticated woman. the company was founded by Halsey Schroeder who grew up watching her mother carefully build her wardrobe – choosing beautiful pieces that would stand the test of time. when Halsey set out to form Halsbrook she wanted “the shopping experience to be elegant and effortless from start to finish.” this included everything from the hand-picked collections and styling advice to the warm customer service and beautiful packaging.
one aspect i love about Halsbrook is their Style Guide that offers an opportunity to check out the latest trends or find an outfit for any occasion. if i’m in a style rut, the Style Guide is the first place i head for inspiration.
this ivory pants suit is reminiscent of the seventies inspired suits with high-waisted wide-leg pants and a blazer with broad shoulders and peak lapels. this little number came along on our recent trip to florida. it was the perfect outfit for an evening with mr. style dining al fresco. a navy cotton tank adds contrast otherwise the look is simple and chic. the accessories are kept to a minimum with a gold necklace last seen here, gold bracelet, and gold earrings.
a big thank you to Halsbrook for this sponsored post. and thank you lovely readers for supporting the brands that allow me to bring you fresh ideas.
