<outfit post> casual friday
as a young girl growing up in Nebraska (yup, i’m a midwest girl through and through) my bedroom was decorated with the color scheme pink and green. the curtains and bedspread were green gingham, pink paisley wallpaper that my mother picked out adorned one wall. cream french provencal furniture accented with pale green, a pink princess telephone…needless to say, i am still a big fan of both hues and try to incorporate the combination into my wardrobe as often as possible. the graphic tee i chose today has a vibrant shade of pink splashed across the front. it’s perfect underneath a structured blazer or sweater. layer on a necklace or two, add straight leg pants, and finish with a pair of pointy-toe pumps. tgif!
