as bright and bold as yesterday’s blazer combo was today’s version pales in comparison. however, my ootd today couldn’t be any more classic. navy blazer, grey tee, and blue jeans. i’ve added a pair of striped flats for a bit of nautical flair that is in keeping with the subdued look. the good thing about investing in a blazer is that it takes years for it to go out of style. most brands just shuffle out a ‘newer’ version from season to season. take for example my nautical blazer i’m wearing today last seen here and here purchased in 2012. it’s still going just as strong today as the first day i wore it. and, since i look for classic details such as custom lining, gold crest buttons, felt-lined collar, and workable buttonholes on the sleeve, i know this will be in style for years to come. if you’re lucky enough to find a jazzy lining inside the sleeves be certain to flip the cuffs to show it off!
