fridays are for oscar and sometimes ollie, but today we have a special post that’s hot off the press. because spring is in the air!
and while florals for spring might not be groundbreaking news i just might change my mind thanks to this cashmere sweater from Marks and Spencer autograph collection. look at the bold splashes of pinks, greens, blues and yellows. guess who’s ready to chase those blue skies and rays of sunshine spring decided to deliver? there’s nothing better than spending time outdoors watching the days grow longer and the grass greener. even if april decides to send a shower my way this vivid sweater will brighten any gloomy day.
since summer is right around the corner i couldn’t resist these flattering linen blend straight leg trousers. this simple but stylish wardrobe must-have will see plenty of action all summer long. and it comes in two colors. cream and navy.
but don’t forget that any great outfit starts with beautiful lingerie. did you know that Marks and Spencer sells over 21 million bras a year? today, i’m wearing a lace plunge bra and matching silk and lace knickers (love how those Brits refer to items) from the Rosie for Autograph collection.
pants | sweater | bra | knickers
with the flowers in full bloom, and spring in full swing, i think we can see why and how florals bring that much-needed zing to our outfits.
happy friday, ladies! oscar will be back next week. as a matter of fact, he’s helping me freshen up our front porch. but before i go oscar and i wish each of you a lovely weekend. and don’t forget to stop and smell the roses today.!

Pretty sweater! I initially thought it must be a silky top but I love that it’s a sweater. And the pants are classic, and that bag is perfect. Love the setting, too–Mr Style did good. Have a great weekend–hugs to Oscar and Ollie.
thanks sue, happy weekend!
Gorgeous shots Beth, all the garments fit so well and look so good !
happy weekend, lorena!
Beautiful outfit, really love this, so classic and fresh. Looks lovely on you!
thanks so much for reading the post, kim!
Hi Beth, I noticed you sometimes wear light covered pants/white jeans. What’s your secret for no VPL. I usually wear Spanx nylons that I cut off below the knee in a nude color. Such a problem especially with white jeans unless wearing a tunic top.
when i wear white or light colored pants i wear jockey panties in nude that i believe are called no VLP.
My kind of color. Beautiful look!
love these bold splashes of color! so spring like.
Beautiful sweater, you wear it so well. I loved it in your youtube video. Can you also tell me about the shoes? So elegant.
