A black cardigan from J.Crew is a perfect third layer this time of year and a nice change of pace from blazers or jackets. It’s also lighter weight which makes it the perfect layer on a chilly morning.

One of my favorite ways to elevate a neutral outfit is with accessories. It adds interest to an outfit and showcases your personality. Dainty jewelry has been trending the past few years but statement necklaces are back and I’m loving it.
Straw handbags (old, similar here and here) are a nice transition from leather handbags we carry all year round. A clutch handbag is perfect for date night. Just make sure it’s large enough to hold your phone, keys, and a small cosmetic bag.
