glitter ‘n glam

it’s hard to believe that another year will be in the books in a matter of hours. 2015 turned out to be an amazing year full of learning opportunities. i’m ringing in the new year much as i do every year, spent with those that mean the most to me – my precious family. a quiet dinner is planned accompanied by a bottle of full-bodied cabernet, and dessert! i’ll tackle those extra pounds that always arrive this time of year, starting tomorrow. but i’ve always believed there’s nothing better than christmas brunches, dinners, or cookie exchanges. and i’m darn well not going to let a delicious snickerdoodle go to waste. there are exciting things happening here at styleatacertainage that i will be sharing over the course of the next few months, but in the meantime i want to thank each of you for tuning in day-by-day. i never dreamed there would be more than a handful of blog followers… needless to say i am humbled by your enthusiastic response to my daily posts. i’ve been taking it easy these past few days, enjoying my children, watching movies, and reading. it’s always good to recharge your batteries. oscar and i will be back in action to welcome 2016. i’ll see you then.
