Thanksgiving at the Djalali house was a success. It was a low-key affair with plenty of good food and a fun interactive video game after dinner. Now, it’s time to deck the halls, y’all. Black Friday has arrived, which means the Christmas decorations are hauled from storage. It’s time to start fa la la la laing my way to December 25th.
Don’t worry; Oscar is on hand today to usher in another Friday. But we have a guest joining us today. Meet Asher, the newest addition to the Djalali family who belongs to one of my kiddos. Oscar is mostly okay with a new puppy that invades his home from time to time. But Ollie? Not so much. It’s hard work being a hostess with the mostess. Am I right?! But Asher is adorable, and he’s welcome any time. Hear that, Ollie?
Black Friday Shopping
Yesterday, I shared a few Black Friday sales, but here are a few more. It’s not an exhaustive list, as that would be exhausting to compile a complete list. So I’m highlighting several that caught my eye. If you like Michael Kors handbags, head to Macy’s for 25% to 40% off. A Black Friday Specials page has been curated that features everything from an Instant Pot to Riedel Wine Glasses. Many of my entertaining pieces hail from Macy’s, like the Martha Stewart Collection or The Cellar.
Bloomingdales is another retailer I can count on for great sales. If you like a little whimsy in your home, then stop by Mackenzie-Childs. All of my bathrooms are stocked with Abyss towels, and Bloomies carries a few of my favorite designers like Vince, Theory, and Ralph Lauren.
And what can we say about Neiman Marcus, except they are a fabulous upscale retailer that consistently delivers the unexpected? Check out their gourmet Treats & Sweets department or their Barware and Entertaining.
Ralph Lauren is offering 40% off your purchase when you spend $125 or more. How about a sequined polo shirt? Or a satin midi skirt?
Tory Burch is having 30% off select items during their Holiday Event. But I adore her take on the classics with a twist clothes too.
Amazon has soooo many Black Friday deals, from a Breville Espresso Machine to a Kindle e-reader. Nordstrom has Black Friday specials for her, for him, and the home.
And let’s not forget Walmart and Target. Both big-box retailers offer something for everyone on your list, like iPhones or AirPods. Or a Dyson Vacuum or an Air Fryer that’s all the rage.
Fridays are all about casual chic. Since it’s chilly today, I reached for a pair of camo pants and a mock neck sweater from Banana Republie that go nicely with black lace-up boots from Vince. This time of year, I never tire of boots or booties as they keep my tootsies warm while keeping my style modern and fresh.
