even though san francisco is a dense city, roughly 47 square miles in proximity, there is an abundance of parks every which way you turn. it’s one of san fran’s most redeeming qualities. so it’s an easy walk in any direction to run smack dab into green space, and spacious park paths. oscar has been quite energetic this week so on this beautiful fall day we decided to let him roam the park, scouring the ground for sticks – you’ve never seen a dog happier than oscar with a gimongous stick in his mouth. the weather has definitely cooled down in san francisco, although a jacket might have been too heavy today since i’m wearing a cashmere sweater known for it’s warmth as well as beauty. but a blanket scarf was just the ticket, adding another layer of warmth on this cool day. i anchored the corner of the scarf with a brooch so it wouldn’t slip off every two seconds, considering the wind has kicked up considerably these past few days. denim and boots are perfect for a long walk in park, but i’m loving this cross body bag that keeps my hands free to maneuver oscar, and stores a few essentials. it seems every week oscar and i have one photo where we are looking in opposite directions. i like to capture those moments and share. you just never know what’s going on in that dogs mind!
