a blazer combined with a pair of chinos is one of my favorite outfits to slip into. i’ve always loved to look for inspiration that comes directly from menswear. it’s smart, uncomplicated and oozes that casual chic look i am so fond of. i don’t know if this is due to the fact i’ve always lived in a world filled with men. i grew up with two brothers, raised three sons, and oddly most of our dogs have been male. even our lone cat – John. don’t get me wrong. i do love feminine dresses, donning a pair of heels, and finding that perfect shade of lipstick. but my preppy attitude always brings me back to the simplest of looks. for all of the mothers out there – this is your weekend to shine. oscar and i wish each of you a very happy mother’s day!
