flawless five-pocket
there’s a new jean in town, and it’s flawless. the new flawless five-pocket collection by Talbots. and, if you’re a blue jean mama like me you’re going to love this redesigned collection! when Talbots first approached me to try out their new denim collection i was game. after all, what woman isn’t up for finding the perfect jean? it was challenging to make a decision on which fit to select – there are five to choose from: slim ankle, boyfriend, jegging, straight-leg, bootcut, and the flare that will be released in september. but, for today’s ootd i settled on the slim ankle. reason being, i wanted a jean i didn’t have to cuff into the perfect length. and with an inseam of 29″ inches this jean is perfect for me. as for the fit? i’d have to say it’s one of the most flattering pair of jeans i’ve worn, and comfortable – and we all know this casual chic girl is all about comfort. this jean has just the right amount of stretch to let me bend, sit, and walk about town, but still look stylish. and isn’t that what we want from a pair of jeans? the rinse of the jeans (delta blue), plus the stitching give it a beautiful character. and the back pocket placement is perfection making a rear-view reflection pretty darn good. so what are you waiting for? if you’re ready to add a new jean to your repertoire check it out here: Talbots. and while you’re at it take a photo of yourself in your fabulous new flawless denim and share it with Talbots using the hashtag #Flawless5Pocket. who knows? you just might end up being featured on Talbots.com.

These jeans look great on you. I’m a little bit tired of jeans so tight that it seems we can’t move or breath (although we don’t breath through our legs, of course. It’s a way of putting it).
i think you will like these jeans, maria. i do, and i especially like the fact i can sit comfortably. the wash is terrific – that’s something i’m particular about.

These jeans look great on you, perfect fit. As to a tight jean, Maria may have something there. I actually read, just recently, that an Australian woman was injured and hospitalized by her tight ‘skinny’ jeans, no kidding.
sometimes i just have to roll my eyes at what people do and the consequences that ensue.
but i remember before spandex came into play how it took at least a week to ‘break in’ my jeans.

How did the sizing run on these? How much do they stretch? Look great on you!
the sizing is true to size. sometimes i have to size up with jeans to get the right fit, and not feel
as if i can’t move. but i didn’t do that with these. love them! i think you will too.
