date night
it’s wednesday, gang, which means we’re halfway through the week. time to celebrate. or at the very least grab my main squeeze and head out the door for date night. a rainy day decided to pay another visit to athens, but we dodged and weaved and managed to beat those raindrops that came along with it. here’s the proof!
date night can be as easy as 1. 2. 3. when you slip into a pair of heels. nothing spruces up denim quite like high heels. if you prefer an alternative heel height take a look here and here. madewell high rise skinny jeans are back in action paired with a box cut madewell shirt purchased last year similar here. with the temps on the chilly side, i grabbed my trusty moto jacket in lieu of a raincoat. let’s face it; a leather moto jacket just has ‘cool’ written all over it. and it gives this simple outfit the edge it needs for date night. last but not least is a pair of dangly earrings and a favorite shade of lipstick. mr. style? are you ready?

This is why I Iike high-waisted jeans. They make legs look longer, when they’re the right style, shape and fit. High-waisted jeans are not “mom jeans”. Boxy, ill-fitting jeans are”mom jeans”. These are not those.
