one of the things i love best about summer is the fresh color palette that it offers. greens, pinks, purples are all found in abundance this time of year. just take a walk outside if you don’t believe me. for today’s ootd, i’ve allowed nature to be my inspiration for my color schemes of lilac and green. first, i stayed with the basics that make up the bulk of my wardrobe: pencil skirt, cashmere cardigan, and jacket. but when i add the green jacket the entire outfit pops. remember, it’s always one element that can elevate your work outfit from humdrum to stylish. a pair of pink pointy-toed pumps, and green and white tote polish off the outfit. add a string of pearls looped around my neck, and i’m ready to face monday morning.

Okay…I’m so in love with this outfit! First the floral skirt is so feminine and gorgeous and then pairing it with the army jacket is such a great dichotomy!!! You look fabulous!! jodie
