Any tips on saving money while shopping and finding your true style?
hi anon,
there are several shopping tips i can share with you as i am a big believer that style doesn’t have to break the bank. first off, i shop at fast fashion stores, old navy and h&m are two of my favorites that frequently run sales as they are high volume stores and turn their inventory around in as little as six weeks. shop on a thursday if you can as most sales run thursday – sunday. if you show up on the first day you will have a better selection, and you’ll beat the crowds that are always out and about on the weekends. second, i shop off season. post season sales and clearance racks are a great way to build your wardrobe, january is a great time to buy investment pieces like a fabulous winter coat, to die for cashmere sweaters, holiday apparel and boots. when august rolls around look for swimsuits and cover-ups, cute summer dresses, and sandals. third, participate in loyalty programs. most retailers, even high end stores like bloomingdales, offer reward programs where you earn points for every dollar you spend. if you’re going to shop you might as well earn a reward card or two.
hope this helps!
