Makes 2 Cocktails
Ingredients
1/2 cup Water
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
2 Jalapeños, halved
1/2 cup Chopped Strawberries
16 Fresh Mint leaves, plus more for garnish
4 oz. Bourbon
Ice
1 (12-oz.) Can Seltzer
Strawberry, for garnish
Jalapeño, sliced, for garnish
Instructions
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine water, sugar, and jalapeños. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. Discard jalapeños.
In a cocktail glass, muddle strawberries and mint. Add 2 ounces bourbon and 1 tablespoon of the jalapeño syrup, stir, then fill with ice and top off with seltzer.
Garnish with mint, a strawberry, and red jalapeño slices.
