are we ready for the long Easter weekend? i am, i am! so we’ll keep it short and sweet today. don’t worry, mr. style and i rustled up a recipe or two. and we cranked the grill for good measure. our patios are slowly coming to life. a landscaper stopped by yesterday to draw up a plan for our backyard. fingers crossed this one will stick with the project. we’ve met with not one but three landscapers since we moved in three years ago. and then they disappear… why georgia, why?
oscar is always at the ready when it comes to his backyard. and i’m happy to join him when the weather permits. this week has seen temps range from mid-sixties to eighties. and my outfits have been all over the map. today, i’m wearing a cute graphic tee from J.Crew, jean skirt (old similar here), and an adorable featherweight wrap that’s perfect for throwing on when the sun dips down.
love variegated geraniums.

Hi Beth, your patio and garden looks fabulous, it’s really coming together and I bet Oscar is just loving it, looks as if he’s having great time. We have the same problem in England, it’s hard to find good trusty workmen so when we find one no matter if it’s a Decorator, Electrician, you get the drift we stick to them, it can be very frustrating knowing who to trust. The recipes look delicious, have. a great Easter weekend xx
thanks so much, julie! i hope you enjoyed your Easter weekend. xo
I’m confused about the recipe. Are you grilling the pork chops or cooking them in a skillet?
the recipe can be adapted either way. if you choose to grill the chops you skip the skillet section. if you decide to make the chops in the skillet then you will have a delicious glaze to pour over the chops! either way the honey glazed pork chops are delicious. xo
He is risen indeed!
He is! xo
Thank you for the recipes!
thanks for stopping by, meg! xo
So cute! What size are you wearing in the ice cream tee?
a size medium.
Does Ollie not nibble on plants? I noticed the lilies in a vase. A friend have me a daylily for my sunroom and I had to re-gift it, as I didn’t want to take a chance that my kitties would snack on it.
Donna, They are very dangerous for kitties. You were wise to regift the daylily. So many plants are poisonous to them and it’s not worth it . Happy Easter!!
Have a wonderful holiday weekend. You and Oscar look ready to enjoy that spring seems to be finally here!
thanks rebecca! i hope you enjoyed the long Easter weekend. xo
I wish I lived near you . I would be over in a hop skip and assist you in that garden. Moved here less than 12 months ago and have converted acres of paddock grass to gardens. We are in the sub tropics so things do go grow quickly. It almost winter here and we are wearing jumpers. . There are some beautiful garden ideas on you tube if you have to end up doing it yourself.Have a great Easter.
awww, that would be great to have a helping hand! it sounds as if your gardens have really taken off. it sounds beautiful. xo
Beth, your patio is lovely. I spotted the monogrammed cocktail napkins and realized they would make a
wonderful hostess gift, along with matching monogrammed wine bags. Our friends will love them.
Thanks for all of the inspiration!
