oscar’s kicking off the weekend with one of his favorite activities — a walk. and it’s a good thing we got an early start today. the weekend forecast calls for snow! now that may not be a major announcement in the northern hinterlands. but here in georgia UGA is shutting its doors commencing at 3:30pm. what?! way back in the day when i attended the university of iowa (iowa btw has one of the worst winters nationwide) i can’t remember classes canceled due to snow. or anything for that matter. not even when a blizzard blew through town my junior year leaving six-foot snow drifts behind. i’m pretty sure those drifts lasted until april… in georgia’s defense, they just don’t own the heavy artillery needed to combat snow. like snowplows.
if the snow arrives this weekend, we’ll stay snug as a bug in our house. we’ve loaded up on bully sticks (oscar’s favorite treat) and the fixings for stew. and i’m pretty sure there’s a bottle of cabernet waiting to be poured. any recommendations for t.v. shows? this sounds like the perfect weekend for a television marathon.
on that happy note, oscar and i wish each of you a lovely weekend! stay warm.

I’m in Atlanta and looking forward to the cozy weekend ahead! I highly recommend a Homeland marathon on Netflix, it’s a must.
awww, thanks, susan! i’ve heard good things about this show. stay warm! it sounds as if you’re ready down there in atlanta. but i did see several instagram photos where atlanta’s grocery store shelves were picked clean!

We’re hunkering down for the big snow here in NC. Did the obligatory treck to the grocery store for eggs, milk, chicken, and chili fixin’s, so I can put together something for leftovers. Enjoy! Love the blues–you do know that’s Duke blue, right!? ;))
We’ve been watching “Good Behavior.” Strange and keeps me on the edge of my seat. Stay toasty!
now i do! but i do love this shade.
i had not heard of good behavior so i’ll check it out. although i do better watching one season at a time as opposed to one week at a time. there’s something satisfying about clicking ‘next episode.’ instant gratification.

awww, i’m lovin’ the pictures of you and oscar together…your outfit would be perfect for our cold temps… xoxo
and it is cold! if we’re in the twenties i can only imagine what temps you’re looking at.
stay warm my friend.
xoxo
I recommend The Crown on Netflix for a good binge-watch.
