Love your blog. Keep it up! Oscar’s looking a little old with his grey muzzle. Your should get him a play mate. I have 3 German Shepherds. They’re a blast and keep each other company.

  2. Mary campbell says:

    Love reading your site.

  3. Ali says:

    Hi Beth and Oscar
Wishing you both and the rest of your family a very happy Christmas and holiday season.
I so enjoy reading your posts. Thank you for all the work you put into them.
Hope you get some down time over Christmas/New Year to recharge your batteries. Hope you are doing ok. Mr Style will be watching over you all — your own personal angel.
    Big hug,
    Ali

  4. Carole Soliday says:

Thinking of you as you spend your first Christmas without Mr. Style. I’ve been there and know it’s hard. Bless you. May the goddess be with you.

  5. Lin Taylor says:

Love your bit of philosophy on change. I couldn’t agree more. Thank you for being out there for the rest of us ‘women of a certain age.’ Wishing you happy holidays… and an especially happy new year!

  6. Connie says:

I make sure I scroll slowly through all your photos. I just noticed the twigs in the tall glass vase by your fireplace. I have a vase like it that has a glass insert for an arrangement and that’s the only way I’ve used it. I’m now going out to buy a lighted twig to use the tube glass part for the holidays! Also, Do you think I can use cranberries instead of blackberries in your holiday margarita?

  7. Paula says:

Beth, great ideas. I am going to try the squash recipe. I really like the picture of you and Oscar on the couch!! Also please share your nail polish color it’s so pretty and a nice change to try this time of year. Have a great weekend.

  8. kim says:

Love the sweater and the white boots, so chic! Happy Holidays to you and yours.

  9. Suzanne Smith says:

Mmmmm…that squash dish looks good! I’m going to make that. Did you use dried montmorency cherries for it? I love them–I think I’d enjoy that. They are so good for you, too–very anti-inflammatory. Pinned it! thanks! Your OOTD is cozy and the drink sounds yummy as well. Happy Friday! Hugs to Oscar and Ollie.

    • Beth Djalali says:

hi sue! yes, i used the cherries instead of the cranberries and it was delicious! this is an easy dish to throw together that’s healthy too. what’s better than that? especially during the holidays.

  10. jackie says:

Beth, I very much like the bracelet you’re wearing in the photo with the Jose Cuervo bottle. May I ask where you got it?
