Happy Memorial Day weekend, ladies! I hope you're getting a chance for some relaxation, and most importantly, to spend the weekend with the people that you love most. I've got all of the kiddos in town this weekend, and we're going to be BBQing later today---cannot beat burgers and dogs on a hot Summer day.

Summer provides the easiest excuse to wear hats. Going to the beach? Check. Celebrating the Derby? Check. How about a baseball game? Check. Nothing like a Panama hat to beat the heat on a hot Summer day.

Anyone who follows the blog regularly knows how much I love a good graphic tee. I will take any opportunity to go shopping for a new one. So many fun ones this year, and I'm really loving Saks as THE place to shop for them.

Tuckernuck and FARM Rio have really come on strong with their dress selection. Whether you're looking for something a little more classic and subdued; or whether you're looking for an eye-popping, colorful statement piece, both of those retailers have you covered.

5. White Sneakers
I'm such a big proponent of white sneakers, I wrote an entire blog post celebrating them. It's hard to overlook the classics: Adidas, Nike, and Keds. A lot of value for your dollar there. But don't overlook some of the higher-end designers for new takes on old classics.

Can't do summer with a wide selection of shorts. Ann Taylor always tops my list, but Talbots obviously has a fantastic selection. Whether you're looking for something more classic or something with a modern flare, both retailers have got you covered.

I really like to read your site. You are a very petite lady. Could you please try to show us some clothes that manufacturers also, make in plus sizes as well as regular sizes? I am sure that some must make the same clothes in plus. I am 5 feet 6 inches and wear a 3X
